A report back on your impact on the People of Israel featuring Ohad Hemo – renowned Arab Affairs Correspondent
Hemo has been covering the Middle East, focusing on the West Bank and the Gaza Strip for more than 20 years. In 2021, he was awarded ‘Sokolov prize’- the most important award for journalism in Israel for his work. He is one of the few Israelis that have gained the trust of the Palestinians with almost unlimited access to the Palestinian territories, its people and leaders.
Through his unique longstanding relationship with leading figures at the PLO and the PA, as well as senior officials of Hamas and Islamic Jihad, Hemo manages to bring the Israeli public the most credible information and rare insights.
The evening will also include a farewell to outgoing UIA Australia President Esther Frenkiel OAM and Treasurer Julian Black OAM.
